Knit Pillow Cover Pattern & Yarn Pack 17

It's worked from the center out, giving you total control over the finished dimensions. Step-by-step instructions are given for this fantastic technique, which puts you in the driver's seat. There's even a coloring page included, so you can map out your project ahead of time! Best of all, the pattern is beginner friendly; you need only know how to cast on, knit, purl (optional!), bind off, and pick up stitches.

In this kit, you will receive 4 skeins of coordinated yarn of various weights, in shades of red, as well as a print copy of the pattern. Please see photos above for each skein’s individual yardage; the total yardage for this pack is 287 yards. This yarn pack is intended to create the front of your pillow cover; you will need additional yarn for the back and may or may not need additional yarn for the front of your pillow, depending on what size you choose to make. I approximate that this yarn pack will create a pillow front up to the 14” size. Please understand that because this is an any gauge, any texture pattern, yardage needs will vary from knitter to knitter.

You will need:
* Straight OR circular knitting needles, in the size of your choice
* Scissors
* Blunt Needle
* Pillow insert in your chosen size: 12”, 14”, 16”, 18”, 20” or 24” square are common; instructions are given for modifying to a rectangle, if you prefer that shape.
