Based on Elizabeth Zimmermann’s now iconic lace featured in her February Baby Sweater, this market bag is perfect for toting to your local farmer’s market. Uniquely constructed with an enveloping pouch at the base of the bag, this is worked seamlessly in the round with just one skein of fingering weight yarn. Show off those handpaints!

US 6/4 mm 24-inch circular needle
US 8/5 mm 32-inch circular needle, and a spare needle of the same size or larger to perform 3-needle bindoff
Approximately 425 yards fingering weight yarn; samples shown in Space Cadet Creations Estelle (80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon, 430 yards per 100 gram skein); color: Springtime Tryst and Malabrigo Sock (100% Merino; 440 yards per 100 gram skein); color: 856 Azules
